Glyn G. Hudson, 81, Truck Driver

Glyn G Hudson, 81, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, October 11, 2005 in Kingston of Vermilion.

He was born July 5, 1924 in Lafayette Springs, MS. He was a resident of New Albany, MS for 27 years. He moved to Vermilion for 27 years, then moved back to Mississippi after retirement in 1980.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He worked as a truck driver for E & L Transport, Vermilion.

Had attended Lakeview Baptist Church, Vermilion, was a member of VFW Post # 397, AMVETS Post 22, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Vickie Kondik of Leesburg, VA and Pat Pettry of Vermilion; 2 sons, Glenn Hudson of Vermilion, and Vic Hudson of Strongsville; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Martha (nee Vance) Hudson; and brothers Randolph and Quitman Hudson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 13, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.

Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home on Friday at 12 noon. The Reverend Jim Cooper, pastor of the Harbourtown Community Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
