Margaret DiCarlo, 83, Leidheiser's Restaurant Co-Owner
Margaret DiCarlo, 83, of Lorain, died Saturday, November 5, 2005 in Community Health Partners West after a 2 week illness.
She was born June 10, 1922 in Youngstown, lived in Cleveland until 1965, Vermilion from 1965-1972 then moved to Lorain.
She worked as co-owner with her husband, Joseph, of Leidheiser's Restaurant in downtown Vermilion. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, cooking and taking care of her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra DiCarlo of Vermilion; son, Robert Joseph DiCarlo of Vermilion, and a brother, Michael Mascarella of Youngstown.
Preceding her in death were her husband Joseph DiCarlo, 1986; sisters, Virginia Babinec and Eleanor Fusillo and her parents, Rocco and Venerina (nee Scarano) Mascarella.
Friends may call Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005, at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
