Eleanor R. Brown, 84, Enjoyed Crocheting
Eleanor R. Brown (nee Bower), 84, of Vermilion, died Thursday, November 10, 2005 at Community Health Partners West after a short illness.
She was born October 7, 1921 in Connellsville, PA. She has been a Vermilion resident for the past 59 years moving from Connellsville, PA.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Vermilion. She enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Kathleen Yonkings of Amherst and Ellen Wierzbicki of Cumberland, MD; 2 grandsons; 3 great grand children, 1 brother, Elmer Bower of Connellsville, PA and 2 sisters, Joan McGee of Connellsville, PA. and Carol Hall of Washington, PA
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Brown on February 21, 1997, her parents, Ernest and Susan (nee Onusko) Bower; 2 brothers, Ernest Bower and Harry Bower; and 1 sister Betty Hengoed.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 14, 2005 from 11 a.m. until noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio, A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion. Father Jim Holmer, pastor will officiate.
Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
