Harold L. Nuhn, 94, Owned and Operated the Nuhn Painting & Decorating
Harold L. Nuhn, 94 of Fostoria, formerly of Lorain died Sunday, November 20, 2005, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Fostoria after a long illness.Mr. Nuhn was born on November 14, 1911, in Vermilion and lived here most of his life. He was a member of the St. John United Church of Christ in Lorain. He was very active in the church and served on the Church Council. He owned and operated the Nuhn Painting & Decorating until his retirement in 1973.
Following his retirement he moved to Tucson, Arizona where he and his wife shared their time between their home in Tucson and their home in Hillside, Colorado. In Tucson he was a member of the Painted Hills United Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife Katherine M. (nee Pratsch) Nuhn, daughter Marian K. Binder of Helena, Ohio, son Rev. Robert W. Nuhn of Providence, Utah, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a sister Mildred Binder of Lorain.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2005, at 11:00 AM in the Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst Township. The Reverend Philip Kunz, pastor of the St. John United Church Of Christ, will officiate.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, 725 Columbus Ave. Fostoria, Ohio 44830.
