Gerald ''Kurt'' Curtis Orose, 42, Loved Laughter

He was born January 26, 1963 in Amherst and attended Amherst Marion L. Steele High School. He graduated from high school in Mississippi.

He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Orose was employed as a sales representative for a home remodeling company. He loved laughter and did stand-up comedy for a brief time. He was a giving and loving person who was respected in his community.

Survivors include his father Gerald Michael Orose of Wakeman; his mother Doris Ann (nee: Gillentine) of Mississippi and his brother Steven William Orose of Austin, Texas.

Friends may call Saturday, January 7, 2006 from 3-5 p.m. at Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Avenue, Amherst.
