Lee Monique Cobb, 77, Enjoyed Traveling and Companionship of her Grandchildren

Lee Monique Cobb (nee Tanner) 77, of Lorain, died unexpectedly at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center on Thursday, December 8, 2005.

Mrs. Cobb was born in Diana, West Virginia on September 24, 1928 and had been a long-time resident of Lorain County.

For more than thirty years, she was employed as an assembler for the Crane Corporation of Elyria, retiring in 2003.

Her hobbies included travel, cooking, and the companionship of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-four years, Thomas Owen Cobb, by her son Dennis Tanner of Wellington, twenty-one grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sisters Dorothy Moyel of Frametown, West Virginia, Ruth Carte of Vermilion, Mary Cool of LaGrange, Irene Tenney of Diana, West Virginia, Betty Camillo of Baldwin Park, California, Mabel Hampton of Elyria and Naomi Davis and by brothers Robert Tanner of Channler, Arizona, David Tanner of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Paul Tanner of LaGrange and Ralph Tanner of Diana, West Virginia, Jerry Tanner of North Ridgeville and George Tanner of Vermilion.

She was preceded in death by a sister Ann.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 11, 2005 from 2 to 4 p.m. only and Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain where funeral services will be Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
