Rose Raddant, 91, Active Bowler

She was born November 19, 1914 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She was raised in Neville Island, Pennsylvania and lived in Caraapolis, Pennsylvania prior to living in Lorain for twenty-eight years. Amherst has been her home for the last 16 months.

Rose was employed by Codo Manufacturing Corp. in Ambridge, Pennsylvania on the assemble line making typewriter ribbons. She was an active bowler, bowling three times a week. Rose enjoyed crocheting and traveling.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Shirley and Ronald F. Leoni of Amherst; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Walter G. Raddant in 1972; by her parents Michael and Christina Dickhart (nee: Klingman); by her brothers Willie, Albert, Edward and Harold Dickhart; and by her sister Marie Henry.

Friends may call Tuesday, January 03, 2006 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Avenue, Amherst. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 03, 2006 at 7 p.m. from the funeral home. Burial will be Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at 12 p.m. in Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park, Pennsylvania.
