Dominic James DePaul, 8, Enjoyed Riding His Bike
Dominic James DePaul, age 8, of Vermilion, died Monday, January 2, 2006 following an accident at home.
He was born on September 18, 1997 in Lorain and has been a life long Vermilion resident.
He was a 3rd grade honors student at Vermilion Intermediate School. He enjoyed riding his bike, reading and playing with his brothers, friends and nephews. He dreamed of growing up to be a doctor. He was happy, focused and very considerate of others. He always wanted to help with someone with something.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Michele Cantone and Wayne Flynn of Vermilion; father, James DePaul of Lawtons, NY; twin brother, Anthony DePaul at home; 2 sisters, Valentina Emerick of Amherst and Jamie DePaul of San Diego, CA; 2 brothers, Angelo Gastelum of San Diego, CA and Julian Gastelum of Vermilion; 3 step-brothers, Andrew Flynn; Josh Flynn and Tristan Flynn all at home; his maternal grandparents, Albert & Monique Cantone of Vermilion; 2 nephews, Cameron & Andrew Emerick of Amherst; several aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2006 from 12 - 2 and 5 -7 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
Services will be held at the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church, corner of Ohio and Grand Streets, on Saturday, January 7, 2006, at 10 am.
