David Michael Shivak, 57, Avid Sports Fan

David was born in Lorain on February 12, 1948 and had been a life-long resident of the city. He was an avid sports fan and an ardent follower of the Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Cavaliers professional sports teams. He also enjoyed all forms of music and especially liked to sing Christmas caroles.

Survivors include his sister Judy A. Norton of Lakeland, Tennessee, and a brother Joseph A. Shivak of Nashville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father Andrew Shivak in 2001, by his mother Loretta (nee Watras) Shivak in 1983, and by a sister Christine Shivak in 2004.

Graveside services will be observed Saturday January 14th, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery – 555 North Ridge Road – Lorain. The Reverend Gaetano Menegatto will officiate.
