Lillian R. Baker, 77, Enjoyed Traveling and Playing Cards

Miss Baker was born in Lorain, OH on June 1, 1928, and was a lifelong resident here. She was a 1946-B graduate of Lorain High School.
She retired from US Steel as a private secretary after more than 30 years service. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and visiting casinos.
She is survived by her nieces Sandra L. Fritsch, Karen A. Shawver, nephew Richard L. Paffume all of Lorain, 4 great nephews, 2 great great nephews and 2 great great nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Anna (nee Hazetez) Baker, a sister Mildred R. Paffume and her aunt and uncle that raised her, Leon and Rosella Kromroy and a longtime companion Nick Prbovich.
Friends may call Monday, January 26, 2006, from 11:00 am until 1:00 PM at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052. Graveside services will immediately follow visitation at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, 44805 North Ridge Road, Amherst, OH.
