James Edgar ''Frenchie'' Marcil, 58, Ford Motor Corp. Coordinator

He was born April 23, 1947 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. He moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1968, then to Monroeville, Ohio in 1987, and back to Michigan in 1990. He has been a resident of Vermilion since 1998.

He was employed at Ford Motor Corp. in Romeo, Michigan for 25 � years, taking medical retirement in 1998 as a Coordinator. He loved bingo, fishing, camping and gambling.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-two years, Rose Mary Marcil (nee: Weiss); his beloved friend Lora Lane of Sandusky; his daughters Sherri Lynn Coward of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, Renee Yvonne Cassidy of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Joyce Margaret Marcil of Sandusky, and Aimee Sue of Monroeville, Ohio; his father Joseph Edgar Marcil of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his brothers George Patterson of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, Beaver Marcil of Echo Bay, Ontario, Canada, Jeffrey Marcil of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Blake Marcil of Innisfil, Ontario, Canada; and his sisters Patricia Marcil of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, Josette LaVoie of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, Bernice Headrick of Echo Bay, Ontario, Canada; Karen Findlay of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada and Leesa Ausman of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Evelyn Marcil (nee: Christie).

Friends may call Thursday, January 26, 2006 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Avenue, Amherst. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 8 p.m. from the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada.
