Jade Amber Townsend, 12, Enjoyed Volleyball and Basketball
Jade Amber Townsend, (Dad's Doll) 12, of Vermilion, died Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, Cleveland.
She was born February 8, 1993 in Lorain and lived her life in Vermilion.
She was a 7th grade student at Open Door Christian School. She enjoyed playing on the volleyball and basketball teams, ski club, reading, Anima Cartoons, ceramics, animals, insects and the outdoors. She loved her family, teachers, and friends at school.
Survivors include her parents, Dallas Townsend, Jr. and Karen (nee See) Townsend of Vermilion; brothers, Dallas Townsend III of Vermilion and Wayne Allen Townsend of Farmersville, OH; 1 niece; 3 nephews; paternal grandparents, Dallas and Lorraine Townsend of Dunbar, WV; maternal grandparents, Hetzel D. and Georgia See of Vermilion.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Ethelyn Gene Townsend.
Friends may call 2-4,6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Wednesday, February 1, 2006, at 11 a.m. The Reverend Chuck Leininger of the Elyria Baptist Church, will officiate.
