Clara Caudill, 85, Midview Custodian

She was born April 14, 1920 in Germany, moving to Lorain at age 5. She attended the Lorain City Schools and graduated from Lorain High School. She has been a lifelong area resident.

She had worked at the Midview Middle School as a custodian for 16 years, retiring in 1991.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane Caudill of Elyria; 1 grandson; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Niskey of Lorain and Martha Fore of Elyria; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded-in-death by her husband, Oscar Caudill, in 1969; parents, Antone and Clara (nee Schwarz) Burger; sisters, Maria, Gertrude, Anna and Marianne and brothers, Anthony, Alfred and Johnny.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, N. Eaton. Cremation services entrusted to Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
