Patricia J. Thompson-Lake, 66, Enjoyed Spending Time with Grandchildren

Patricia J. Thompson-Lake, 66 (nee Toth) of Lorain died at her home in Lorain in Friday morning, February 24, 2006, unexpectedly.

Mrs. Thompson-Lake was born in Lorain, OH on October 2, 1939, and lived here all her life. She was a retired cleaning matron for the Lorain City School Board. She enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren, shopping, watching movies and doing puzzle books.

She is survived by her daughters Mona L Perez, Michelle L. Ward both of Lorain, sons: Michael J. Thompson Sr., Mark A Thompson both of Lorain, 10 grandchildren, including Barbara A. Washington whom she helped raise and made her home with and 10 great grandchildren, sisters Yolanda Jakobsky of Westlake, OH, Mary Vargo of Lorain, brother Edward Toth of Westerville, OH, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Mrs. Thompson-Lake was preceded in death by a stepson Timothy J. Thompson, grandson Marshall A. Ward, parents Michael and Barbara (nee Horosz) Toth, brothers John and Michael Toth and a sister Ida Toth.

Graveside services at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst, OH, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 1, 2006. Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052 is handling the arrangements.
