Aida Lopez Rosado, 70, Enjoyed Caring for Children
Aida Lopez Rosado, 70 (nee Lopez) of Lorain died Tuesday, February 28, 2006, at Anchor Lodge Retirement Village in Lorain following a long illness.
Mrs. Rosado was born in Yauco, PR on November 22, 1935, and has lived in Lorain since 1956. She was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel and was a homemaker.
She enjoyed life, cooking, caring for children and gardening, especially roses.
She is survived by daughters Vicki Marquez, Guadalupe Lopez, Virginia Lopez Laviena all of Lorain, Jose Lopez of FL., Victor Lopez, Edwin Lopez both of Lorain, OH, 35 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, stepdaughter Hedy Lopez of Puerto Rico, stepson Harry Lopez of Los Angeles., CA. (whom she raised).
She was preceded in death by her husband Felix Lopez Rosado, Sr in 1972, son Felix Lopez, Jr 2000, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, her parents Sergio & Fundadora Quanious Rodriquez, her stepmother Renee Rodriquez, sisters Primitiva Rodriquez Santana, Luzelina Rodriquez Rodriquez, brothers, Ervin Rodriquez, and Noel Rodriquez.
Friends may call on Friday, March 3, 2006, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 4, 2006, at 8:45 PM in the funeral home followed at 9:30 AM by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Ave., Lorain. Rev. William Thaden, pastor will officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery Lorain, OH.
