Theresa E. Butcher, 89, Enjoyed Spending Time With Her Family

Theresa E. Butcher, (nee Lukesic), age 89, of Lorain, died Wednesday March 15th, 2006 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Butcher was born in Lorain on January 23, 1917 and had been a life-long resident of the city.

She was a graduate of Lorain High School. A parishioner of Saint Vitus Catholic Church, she had formerly been employed by the Western Automatic Corporation of Elyria as a clerk in the mailroom, and later in the payroll department for many years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Theresa is survived by her husband of fifty-five years Clark A. Butcher, by sons Jack Carter of Lorain and Clark L. Butcher of Greenville, Pennsylvania, daughter Dawn McNerney of Richfield, Ohio, along with four grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Angela (nee Hranlovic) Lukesic, by brothers Anthony. Nicholas, and Joseph, and by sisters Mary Carter, Anne Goforth, Magdalene Bozsoki, Katherine Smith, and Angela Klinar.

Friends may call Thursday, March 16, 2006, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel – 3224 Broadway Avenue – Lorain with a parish rosary to be recited at 2:30 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel with the Reverend Simon Neckic, pastor of Saint Vitus Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery in Harrietsville, Ohio.
