Bill ''Buzz'' A. Higgins, 44, Angelica Health Care Services Group Employee

He was born July 1, 1961 in Lorain. He was raised in Avon Lake. He also lived in Avon and Sheffield Lake. He lived in Lorain for the past seven months.

Mr. Higgins was employed at Angelica Health Care Services Group, Lorain. He also had worked as a self-employed painter.

He was a member of Saint Thomas Church, Sheffield Lake. He also attended The Church of the Open Door, Elyria. Mr. Higgins was a member Sheffield Lake Alcohol Anonymous and volunteered answering phones at the Lorain County Central Office, Lorain.

Among the survivors are his son Nicholas Higgins of Columbus; his Mother Marianne Dessain (nee Arnold) of Lorain; brother James R. Higgins of Raleigh, North Carolina; sisters Nina D'Abato of Vermilion and Norine Hanley of Lorain and one grandson.

Friends may call Thursday, March 23, 2006, 3:00 to 7:00 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Funeral service will Thursday evening at 7:00 PM. inthe funeral home. Rev. William Williams, Assistant Pastor of the Church of the Open Door, Elyria and Rev. Steve Mayes, Pastor of the Good Shepherd Baptist Church, Amherst will co-officiate.
