Grace Dominguez, 66, North Coast Shoreway Lanes Retiree
Grace Dominguez (nee Pass), age 66, of Las Vegas, died Monday, March 27, 2006, at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas after a lengthy illness.Born December 23, 1939 in Fleming, Kentucky, Mrs. Dominguez became of resident of Lorain in 1952 and remained here until moving to Las Vegas in 2000.
Grace was employed by North Coast Shoreway Lanes in Sheffield Lake for over 20 years.
She was an avid bowler for the Kings and Queens at Sam’s Town in Las Vegas and served as president and secretary of various bowling leagues in Las Vegas and Lorain County. She was an active member of the Mexican Mutual Society, and member of the Cha-Chas dance group from 1954-1958. She was also a member of the Nights of St. John, Croatian Club, and Sam’s Town Players Club.
Grace is survived by her husband, Joe Dominguez, Sr. of Las Vegas, daughters: Vida Dominguez-Kivatisky, Vera L. Dominguez-Goode, Dominica Dominguez, and Tina Dominguez, all of Las Vegas, Darlene and husband Carl Ruma of Omaha, Nebraska, son: Joey and wife Colleen Dominguez of Lorain; brother: William and wife Lizie Pass of Elyria; grandchildren: Joseph, Tony, Breeanna, Dominic, Jamie, Taylor, and Kelsey, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Noami Pass, father: Reese Pass, brothers: Jack Douglas Pass and Glennwood Pass; and sisters: Stella Pass Anderson and Mary Pass Stafford.
Family and friends are asked to gather for a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 8, 2006, at 5 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. The Reverend Jimmy W. Madsen, co-pastor of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, will officiate.
