Margaret E. Pincura, 90, Owned Pincura's Meats in south Lorain
Margaret E. Pincura (nee McCahon), 90, of Lorain, died Friday April 7, 2006 at Life Care Center of Elyria after a short illness.
She was born February 3, 1916 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident. Margaret was a graduate of Lorain High School.
Along with her late husband Peter she owned and operated Pincura’s Meats on E. 31st Street in Lorain for 60 years retiring in 1978.
She was a member of Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Lorain. She enjoyed flower gardening, crafts, making things out of seashells, knitting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons: Peter Pincura of Boaz, Alabama, Robert Pincura of Grant, Alabama and Richard Pincura of Grafton, 5 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter Pincura in 1990, parents Orrin & Margaret McCahon (nee Murry), grandson Orrin Pincura, brothers Robert McCahon and John McCahon and sister Mary Prosser.
The family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4, 7-9 PM at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Stephen Sedgwick, pastor of Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Lorain, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
