Wanda Fay Fouts Unger, 68, Enjoyed Fishing & Sewing
Wanda Fay Fouts Unger (nee Elam), 68 of Lorain, died Friday, April 7, 2006 at her home after a lengthy illness.She was born August 4, 1937 in Hazard, KY and has been a Lorain resident since 1969 moving from Kentucky.
She had formerly attended Bethel Baptist Church, Lorain and enjoyed fishing, sewing, and flower arrangements.
Survivors include 4 daughters: Lillie Thomas of Lorain, Sallie Casper of Sheffield Village, Connie Smith of Lorain, and Mabel Louder of Sheffield Lake; son, Roger Fouts of Louisville, KY; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, James Elam of Shepherdsville, KY and Willie Elam of Louisville, KY and 1/2 sister Florida Holcomb of Isom, KY.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Ambrose and Lillie (nee Morris) Elam, grandchild, Caden Wells, brother, Ambrose Elam Jr., 3 1/2 brothers Jasper Couch, Balis Elam and Corbet Couch sister Sally Travis and 1/2 sister Lizzie Baker.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2006, at 1:30 p.m. at the New Freedom Gospel Church 3249 East Liberty Ave. Vermilion, with Pastor Donald New officiating. Interment will follow in Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion.
