Rebecca S. �Becky� Fordyce, 52, Broadway Assembly Music Director

Photo of Rebecca S. “Becky” Fordyce Rebecca S. “Becky” Fordyce, (nee Rich), age 52, of Lorain, died Saturday April 29, 2006 at her residence while under the care of the Cleveland Clinic Hospice.

Becky was born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 4, 1953 and had been a resident of Lorain since 1986 coming from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She was a graduate of Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma and went on to attend Miami University in Miami, Oklahoma as well as the Ozark Bible Institute.

Mrs. Fordyce was an active member of Broadway Assembly in Lorain where she had served as Music Director for the past ten years. She was also employed on a part time basis as a sales associate for the Driscol Music Company as well as an independent piano teacher.

Becky was a talented seamstress who enjoyed cooking and music in her leisure time.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-one years Timothy R. Fordyce, daughter Carrie M. Sebastian of Lorain, son Wesley R. Fordyce of Lorain, granddaughter Audrianna M. Sebastian, parents Billy and Thelma (nee Gaines) Rich of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and sisters Kathy R. Hallford of Gilbertown, Alabama and Judith Ann Serna of Tulsa.

Friends may call Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the Broadway Assembly – 5495 Broadway Avenue – Lorain. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the church with the Pastor Matt Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park – Amherst Township.
