Michael S. Sandoval, 47, Machine Operator
Michael S. Sandoval, 47, of Lorain died Friday, June 23, 2006 in Cleveland Clinic Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born May 16, 1959 in Lorain and was a life long resident. He graduated from Southview High School in 1976.
Mr. Sandoval worked as a machine operator for U. S. G. Interiors, Inc., Westlake. He had also worked for U. S. Steel Lorain-Cuyahoga Works, Lorain.
He was a liver transplant survivor for over 13 years. He enjoyed family gatherings, especially with his cousins. He was a member of Alcohol Anonymous, Lorain.
Among the survivors include his son Andrew C. Sandoval of Amherst, daughter Carrie N. Sandoval of Amherst; parents Samuel and Arminia "Nan" (nee Aguilar) Sandoval of Lorain; sisters Andrea V. Sandoval of Lorain and Maggie M. Nejadfard (nee Sandoval) of Elyria; three grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grand parents Louis and Pascuala Sandoval and Julio and Andrea (nee Garcia) Aguilar.
Friends may call Monday, June 26, 2006, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 E. 31st St., South Lorain. Funeral services Tuesday with closing prayers at 9:00 AM followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Homewood Drive and Grove Avenue, Lorain. Reverend Father Lawrence Martello, pastor of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Amherst. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
