Crimilda "Crimi" Rodriguez, 75, Member of Sacred Heart Chapel
Crimilda "Crimi" Rodriguez, 75 of Lorain, died Monday, July 17, 2006 her home following a lengthy illness.She was born December 5, 1933 in Utuado, Puerto Rico. She graduated from high school there. She came to Lorain in 1952. Mrs. Rodriguez retired in 1975 as a home outreach worker for the Neighborhood House, South Lorain.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain. Mrs. Rodriguez was also a lector and sang with the church. She also taught catechisum and volunteered for the churches credit union. She enjoyed helping others. Mrs. Rodriguez also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Among the survivors are her son Paul Gonzalez of Lorain and her daughter Migdalia Otero of West Palm Beach, Florida, sister Lilian Rodriguez of Hollywood, Florida, eight grandchildren and eight great grandson, her fiance German Perez of Lorain and her first husband Jorge G. Rodriguez of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her second husband Jesus M. Lopez; and her parients.
Friend may call Wednesday, July 19, 2006, 4:00 to 8:00 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Funeral services are Thursday, July 20, 2006 with closing prayers at 8:45 AM in the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 AM in Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, South Lorain. Rev. William A. Thaden, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
