Agapi Todorov, 61, Assembler

Agapi Todorov 61 of Lorain died Saturday, August 5, 2006 in University Hospital, Cleveland following a lengthy illness.

She was born April 7, 1945 in Agios Germanos, Greece. She had lived in Hamilton, Ontario eight years before immigrating to Lorain in 1974.

Mrs. Todorov retired in 2001 as an assembler for the former Marconi Communications in Lorain. She worked there for 18 years.

She was a member of Saints Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church, Lorain. She was also a member of the Protection of the Holy Theotokos Sisterhood of the church

Mrs. Todorov enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, knitting, cooking and visiting Amish Country.

Among the survivors are her daughter Maria Todorov of Lorain; brothers Georgios (George) Koutsopoulos of Wellington and Kyriakos (Ken) Koutsopoulos of Oberlin.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years Todor Todorov in 2001; her parents Efstratios and Petrina (nee Stepanis) Koutsopoulos and a brother Germanos (Jerry) Koutsopoulos.

Friends may call Tuesday, August 8, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 east 31st Street, South Lorain. Where Trisagion prayer service will be Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM in the funeral home. Funeral service will be Wednesday 10:00 AM in Saints Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church, 3056 Reeves Avenue, Lorain. Reverend father Paul Monkowski, Rector will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood cemetery, Lorain.
