Isabel Brillon, 76, Enjoyed Gardening & Crossword Puzzles
Isabel Brillon 76 of Lorain died Wednesday, August 09, 2006 In E. M. H. Regional Medical Center, Elyria following a lengthy illness.She was born July 8, 1930 in Canovanas, Puerto Rico. She came to Lorain in 1947.
Mrs. Brillon retired from Arrow Aluminum Co. Avon Lake in 1996 she worked there for 15 years.
She had also worked as a cook for the Three Star and Chris's Restraints in South Lorain. She also made tacos for Taco Night at the 6th District Club. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and Spanish language soap operas.
Among the survivors are her sons Jose and Manuel Brillion both of Lorain; a sister Maria Pagan of Puerto Rico; eight grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Laura Pagan (nee Flores); brothers inez and Lius Manuel Pagan sister Alejandrea Flores and a grandson Jacob Brillion.
Friend may call Friday, August 11, 2006, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Funeral services are Saturday, August 12, 2006 with closing prayers at 8:45 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 AM in Sacred Heart Chapel, 4139 Pearl Avenue, South Lorain. Reverend Father William A. Thaden, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
