Rosaria Cacchione, 69, Cook at Roman Room & Holiday Inn

Rosaria Cacchione (nee Coppola), 69, of Lorain died Thursday August 24, 2006 at Community Health Partners Hospital in Lorain.

She was born October 28, 1936 in Nocera Inferiore, Italy and had resided in Lorain for the past 38 years.

Rosaria worked as a cook at the Roman Room Restaurant in Lorain for 10 years and then as a cook at the Holiday Inn in Elyria for 10 years retiring in 2001.

She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain. She enjoyed family activities and being with friends.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years Guiseppe Cacchione of Lorain, son John Cacchione of Lorain, daughter Anna Cacchione of Lorain, brothers Antonino Coppola of Rome, Italy, Niello Coppola of Canada and Vincenzo Coppola of Canada and sisters Anna Coppola and Concetta Gargano, both of Nocera Inferiore, Italy. She was preceded in death by her parents Luigi & Cordialina Coppola (nee Russo) and sisters Maria Gamberdella and Adrianna Coppola.

The family will receive friends Friday 6-9 PM at the Gluvna Shimo Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1454 Lexington Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Robert J. Glepko pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
