Uldean V. Sapp, 92, Enjoyed Her Family
Uldean V. Sapp, 92 (nee Catron) of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Lorain died on Friday, September 8, 2006, at the Hospice Health Center of Sarasota following a short illness.Mrs. Sapp was born on October 18, 1913, in New Richmond, OH. She lived in Lorain most of her life; moving to Florida in 1996. She was a graduate of Amherst Central High School in 1931. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the former First United Methodist Church, nka Cornerstone United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Rachel Circle of the church, a charter member of the Faithful Followers of Helen Steiner Rice, a member of the Sorosis Club and the AARP.
Mrs. Sapp enjoyed her family, playing the piano, sewing, embroidery and reading.
Mrs. Sapp is survived by daughters Sheila Strauser of Lorain, Rhonda Puhaly of Sarasota, FL, Audrey Blackwell of Venice, FL, 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and many step--great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband John D. Sapp in 1986, a grandson Anthony Shinsky, parents Morris B. and Daisy (nee McElfresh) Catron and a brother Morris Catron.
Friends may call at the Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway Ave., Lorain on Tuesday, September 12, 2006, from 6-8 PM.
Additionally, friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, from 11:00 AM until funeral time at noon. The Rev. Dale Warrick, pastor of Cornerstone United Methodist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
