Rosemary E. Hribar, 72, Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother
Rosemary E. Hribar, (nee Campana), age 72, of Lorain, died Thursday September 21, 2006 at Saint John and Westshore Hospital in Westlake following an illness of one week.
Mrs. Hribar was born in Lorain on August 5, 1934 and had been a life-long resident of the city.
She was a graduate of Lorain High School who had formerly been employed in the blueprint department at the Thew Shovel Division of Koehring Company for a number of years.
A parishioner of the Catholic Church of Saint Peter, Rosemary was regarded as the consummate care-giver as she cared for her parents and late husband throughout a myriad of illnesses and infirmities. In her free time she enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters Maria Wido of Avon, Andrea Rolf of Cleveland, grandchildren Frank, Anne, and Jack Rolf, and Taylor, Sasha, and Isabella Wido, brother Baldo Campana of Lorain, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-five years Peter Hribar, Jr. in 1998, by her parents Thomas and Maria (nee Maddamma) Campana, grandchildren Henry and Catherine Wido, along with brothers Patsie P.C. Campana, Lawrence Campana, and Albert Campana.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel 3224 Broadway Avenue Lorain. Funeral services will be Monday beginning with closing prayers offered in the funeral chapel at 9:30 a.m. and will be followed by the celebration of her funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Catholic Church of Saint Peter 3501 Oberlin Avenue Lorain. The Reverend Charles Henkle, O.F.M. Conv., associate pastor of the parish will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery Lorain.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
