Norma Jean Cannon, 62, Enjoyed Gardening
Norma Jean Cannon (nee Baker), 62 of Vermilion, died Friday, September 22, 2006 in Community Health Partners West after a short illness.She was born February 5, 1944 in Bruce, Mississippi and has been a Vermilion resident for the past 38 years.
Mrs. Cannon worked as a secretary for Community Health Partners, Lorain for 38 years.
She had attended First Baptist Church, Vermilion and enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Warner of Elyria; son, William "Jack" Cannon of , Taylorsville, KY , 5 grandchildren; 3 brothers: Glen, Robert, and Billy Baker; and 5 sisters: Thelma Middleton, Peggy Baker, Dorothy Terry, Martha Ruth, and Penny Stark.
Preceding her in death were her husband Wesley Jackson Cannon in 1997, parents John and Lavonia (nee Hardin) Baker, brothers: John, James, Winford, and Rex Allen Baker; and sisters, Mary Catherine Carmichael and Alcia Speurill.
Friends may call Monday, September 25, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South St. Vermilion, OH.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend Jim Peter officiating. Interment will follow in Rugby Cemetery, Brownhelm Twp..
