Erma Pando Alicea, 80, Enjoyed Cooking and Baking Hungarian Food
Erma Pando Alicea (nee Ferenczi), 80, of Louisville Kentucky, died Monday, September 25, 2006 at Friendship Manor Nursing Home in Pewee Valley, Kentucky.Erma was born August 4, 1926 in Lorain, Ohio and had resided in Louisville, Kentucky since 1 year moving from Lorain where she lived most of her life.
She loved to cook and bake Hungarian food and read.
She is survived by her daughters Beverly Pando of Elyria, Roberta Mowery of Lorain, Marie Birch of Brunswick and Linda Lopez of Louisville, Kentucky, grandsons Edward Birch of Brunswick and Francisco Lopez of Louisville, Kentucky, granddaughters Melissa Alessio of Lorain and Heather Mowery of Lorain and two great grandsons Austin Mowery of Lorain and Joseph Birch of Hinckley.
She was preceded in death by her mother Juliana Ferenczi (nee Tinger), father Antal Ferenczi, brothers Michael Rosta, Antal "Tony" Ferenczi, Steve Ferenczi, and sisters Elvira Dongan and Yolanda Burris Myers.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 28, 2006 from 6:00 pm until the time of funeral services at 9:00 pm at Gluvna Shimo Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Mr. Jim Debrason, deacon of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain will officiate. Cremation will follow.
