Mary Ulichney, 76, Enjoyed Traveling & Gardening
Mary Ulichney (nee Bailey), 76, of Lorain, died Wednesday November 8, 2006 in the medical intensive care unit at Community Health Partners Hospital in Lorain after a lengthy illness.She was born April 12, 1930 in Mocanaqua, Pennsylvania and had resided in Lorain since 1950.
Mary was the manager of Faroh’s Candies on Broadway in Lorain for 20 years. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain and a past member of the St. Anthony School PTA.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with her family. Building a foundation of strength and love for her family was her lifelong quest.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Peter Ulichney of Lorain, sons: Peter Ulichney Jr, Ken Ulichney, Bob Ulichney and Jerry Ulichney, all of Lorain, daughters Judy Willets of Lorain and Nancy Greer of Wellington, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sister Ann Yustat of Long Island, New York and brother Steven Bailey of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Ilona (Helen) Bailey (nee Jarick), brothers George Bailey, John Bailey and Steven Bailey and a sister in infancy.
