Edna Ziegler, 85
Edna M. Ziegler, 85 (nee Lytle) of Lorain died Thursday, November 9, 2006, at New Life Hospice Center at St. Joseph in Lorain following a brief illness.Mrs. Ziegler was born in Cresson, PA on January 4, 1921. She has lived in Lorain for the past 53 years.
She had worked in various clothing departments for the O'Neils Store compiling 30 years of service. She retired in 1986. She and her late husband Lee Ziegler owned and operated the Dairy Isle on 21st Street from 1961-1971.
Mrs. Ziegler enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, gardening, shopping and animals, especially birds.
She is survived by a daughter Shauna E. Wilt Mihalic of Amherst, son Patrick A. Wilt of Lorain, 7 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a sister Bernice Caulk.
Mrs. Ziegler was preceded in death by her first husband Patrick E. Wilt in 1956, her second husband Lee Ziegler in 2005, daughter Carroll A. Wilt Albright in 2006, her mother Margaret (nee Smith) Lytle, sisters Jeannie Kennedy, Marjorie Link, brothers Hallam Lytle and George Lytle.
Services are private with interment at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery Amherst Township, OH.
Family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army, 2506 Broadway Ave., Lorain, Ohio 44052.
