Victoria Sanchez, 76, Member of Iglesia Manantial Pentecostal

She was born March 1, 1930 in Loiza, Puerto Rico. She lived there until moving to Lorain three months ago.

She was a member of Iglesia Manantial Pentecostal, Lorain and the Iglesia Del Velo, Loiza, Puerto Rico.

She was a homemaker and mother, who enjoyed taking care of her family and listening to religious music.

Among the survivors are her husband of 47 years Fidel Hernandez of Lorain; daughters Maria and Ruth L. Hernandez both of Lorain; sons Felix Cirino Sanchez, Carlos Mercado Sanchez, Victor Mercado Sanchez, Jesus Mercado Sanchez and Hector Hernandez all of Loiza, Puerto Rico and Fidel Hernandez of Rhode Island.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Andres and Isabel (nee Osorio) Sanchez; brothers Francisco and Pablo Sanchez both of Loiza, Puerto Rico; sisters Regina, Rufina and Victoria Sanchez, 1st.

Friends may call Monday, November 27, 2006, 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Iglesia Manantial Pentecostal, 3501 Broadway, Lorain, Ohio. Where the funeral service will be Tuesday, November 28, 2006 1:00 PM in the church. The Reverend Juan Rivera, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain. Arrangements are under the direction of Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, Ohio.
