Florence E. “Florie” Szklar (nee Ferrari), 83, of Lorain, died Sunday November 19, 2006 at her home after a brief illness.She was born January 30, 1923 in Everett, Massachusetts and had resided in the Lorain area since 1959.
Florie enjoyed garage sales and crafts.
She is survived by her son John Szklar of Vermilion, daughters Lorraine Wurtz of Evansville, Indiana, Evelyn Szklar of Lorain and Elaine D’Amore of North Olmsted, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Theophil Szklar in 2000, infant daughter Patricia Szklar, parents Annibale and Elsie Ferrari (nee Little), brother Marco Ferrari and sisters Yolanda Truman, Rena Wallace, Evelyn Navarro, Minnie Mansfield, Elsie Spaladoro, Stella McCauley and Emily McCauley.
