Joyce L. Taggart, 57, Painter, Knitter

She was born October 19, 1949 in Lorain, OH and has been a life long Vermilion resident.

She worked as a LPN for Intrepid Home Health Care, Elyria and had previously worked as a LPN for Community Health Partners Hospital, Lorain for 18 years.

She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, Vermilion. She enjoyed painting, art, and knitting.

Survivors include her sons: Chris Cartwright of Santa Rita, Guam and Jason Cartwright of Groveport, OH; step-daughter, Paula Gleason of Grafton; step-son, Craig Taggart of Atlanta, GA; step-mother, Dorothy Montgomery of Vermilion; 9 grandchildren; and fiancé Dale Draudt of Akin, SC.

Preceding her in death were her husband Gene Taggart in 2000, and parents, Gerald and Mary (nee Risdon) Montgomery.

Friends may call Wednesday Nov. 29, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.

Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at 10:00 am. with the Rev. Cliff Morris, pastor of Lakeview Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
