Carmen I. Santiago 51 of Lorain died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 in her home following a brief illness.She was born January 4, 1956 in Brooklyn, New York. She moved to Lorain from Caguas, Puerto Rico in 1983.
She was a homemaker and mother who enjoyed bingo and cooking. She was a former member of Iglesia Pentecostal Cristo Missionera, Lorain.
Among the survivors are her husband of seven years Jose E. Claudio of Lorain; son Angel Carrion of Lorain; daughters Maria Carrion of Lorain and Johanna Carrion of Tampa, Florida, her father Adolfo Santiago of San Juan, Puerto Rico; brothers Rufo Rivera Ramos of Caguas, Puerto Rico and other brothers and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call Thursday, November 30, 2006, 4:00 to 8:00 PM in Iglesia Pentecostal Christo Missionera, 1930 Broadway, Lorain. Friend may also call Friday, December 1, 2006, 12:00 PM until time of service at 1:00 PM in the church. Rev. Miguel Serrano, Pastor will officiate; Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
