Audrey Mae Szekely , 84, Enjoyed Reading and Baking
Audrey Mae Szekely (nee Knispel), 84, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, December 20, 2006 in Community Health Partners West after a brief illness.She was born October 4, 1922 in Brownhelm Township and had been a life long resident.
She was a member of the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church, Vermilion, enjoyed her family, reading, baking, television and visitors.
She is survived by her care givers, Shirley Mayer and Mark Mayer, both of Vermilion, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles and Pauline (nee Eisenmen) Knispel; her husband, Charles Szekely in 1998, a beloved daughter, Eileen Szekely in 1998; 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Friends may call Friday, Dec. 22, 2006 from 4-7 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home. The Reverend William Seith, interim pastor of the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Brownhelm Cemetery.
