Thomas Elwood Forrider, 64, Professional Bowler

Thomas Elwood Forrider, 64 of Vermilion, died Monday, December 25, 2006 at his home after a short illness.

He was born January 26, 1942 in Lorain, Ohio, and has been a resident of Wakeman and Elyria.

He worked 30 years as a repairman for Ford Motor Co., Lorain, retiring in 1994 he was also a professional bowler.

He was a member of The Salvation Army Center For Worship and Service, Elyria. He enjoyed golf, bowling at Lake Erie Lanes and Rebman's, and was an avid horseman.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Berniece (nee Arnold) Forrider; sons, Thomas Forrider of Grafton, Robert (Regina) Forrider of Elyria, Paul (Tammie) Forrider of Vermilion, and Carl (fianc� Pam) Forrider of Wakeman; step-sons, David (Denise) Lewis of Dunmore, PA, and Eric (Arlene) Lewis of North Olmsted, 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 1 brother; and 3 sisters.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Vernon and Ruth (nee Lynn) Forrider, his 1st wife, Carol whom he was married to for 20 years, and his brother John Forrider.

Friends may call Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St. Vermilion, OH 44089.

Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
