Kim D. Warner, 52, General Contractor
Kim D. Warner, age 52, of Lakeside Marblehead, and formerly of Lorain, died Sunday January 7, 2007 in the emergency room of Macgruder Hospital in Port Clinton following an illness of five years.Kim was born in Lorain, Ohio on June 1, 1954 and had been a resident of Lakeside Marblehead for the past three years coming from Oberlin.
He attended Washington Avenue Elementary School, Masson School and Admiral King High School. He was a self-employed general contractor who specialized in electrical, plumbing, and glass installation projects throughout Lorain County.
In his free time he enjoyed playing darts and participated in a variety of tournaments throughout the area. He also enjoyed reading with a special emphasis on current events.
He is survived by his daughter Heather Warner of Rocky Face, Georgia, by a son Josh residing in Akron, by a granddaughter Shyenne Miller, by his fiancé Cathleen Twining of Lakeside Marblehead, by sisters Lynne Urbas of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, Tracy Warner of Willoughby, and Melissa Warner of New London, and by brothers Dennis of Lorain, Kurt of Willoughby, Mark of Orlando, Florida, and Brad residing in Florence Township.
He was preceded in death by his father Stacy P. Warner in 1994 and by his mother Evelyn (nee Reger) Warner in 1991.
Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery 640 North Ridge Road - Lorain.
