Ron �Tattoo Roc� Ellis, 50, Proprietor of the Mild To Wild Tattooz studio
Ron Tattoo Roc Ellis, age 50, of Avon Lake, died Saturday January 20, 2007 in the emergency room of Saint John Westshore Hospital following an illness of three weeks. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 6, 1956 and had been a resident of Avon Lake since 1967 coming from Cleveland.He attended Southview High School. He was regarded as an accomplished artist and was the proprietor of the Mild To Wild Tattooz studio in Lorain. He had been involved with that business since 1996. Mr. Ellis enjoyed a variety of hobbies including fishing, camping, and boating. Additional interests included painting as well as making knives, and collecting knives.
Survivors include his son Victor Delfosse of Avon Lake, daughter Claire Faley of Vermilion, his fiancée Crystal Delfosse of Avon Lake, brother Jim Ellis of Amherst, and sisters Tami Cunningham of Weaverville, North Carolina and Teri Berd Christian of Henrietta Township.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Dorothy (nee Brown) Ellis, by brother Leonard Ellis, and by his aunt Jane Aunt Janie Parker.
A public memorial service and benefit will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday February 3rd, 2007 in the Mild-To Wild Tattooz Studio 1662 Broadway Avenue in Lorain.
