Elizabeth Ruth Igoe, 65, Enjoyed Crafts, Gardening, and Cooking
Elizabeth Ruth (nee Carter) Igoe, 65 of Amherst Township died early Sunday, January 21, 2007 at her home following a long illness.
Mrs. Igoe was born in Jasper, TN on October 16, 1941, she moved to
Lorain in 1960 and lived here until moving to Amherst Township 7 years ago. She was a homemaker.
She enjoyed crafts, gardening, cooking and especially her family.
Mrs. Igoe is survived by her husband Robert H. Igoe, to whom she was
married on July 5, 1959. Also surviving are daughters: Angel A. Dozier of
Lorain, Emma M. Roberts of Greenville, SC, Deborah J. Schultz of Hilliard, Joy E. Mattes of North Olmsted, Carrie L. Chutes of Sheffield Lake, sons: Christopher C. Igoe and Robert J. Igoe both of Lorain, OH, Jason H. Igoe Mark A. Igoe both of Amherst Township, OH, 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sisters: Brenda Mauck of Kileen TX, Glenda Carson, Sarah Taylor both of Jasper, TN., Peggy Deweese of Soddy-daisy, TN, brothers: Clarence Carter of Oklahoma, James Carter of Jasper, TN.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Michael Chutes, her parents Albert B. and Emma Allie (nee Dawson) Carter and infant sister Audra Carter.
A Celebration Of Life will be on Wednesday evening, January 23, 2007 at 7:00 PM in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, with Mr. James Hiser, Toledo Road Church of Christ will officiate.
