Lauren Saltis, 51, Worked at Super K Mart

She was born November 7, 1955 in Lorain and had resided in Amherst since 1994.

Lauren was a 1974 graduate of Lorain Catholic High School and attended Lorain County Community College. She worked at Super K Mart in Lorain for over 30 years.

Lauren was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain. She enjoyed reading, animals, yard work, flower gardening and traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 10 years Randy Saltis, mother Dorothy Andrews (nee Siejak), brothers John Andrews of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Kevin Andrews of Louisville, Ohio and David Andrews of Lorain and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father John W. Andrews in 2004.

The family will receive friends Monday 2-4, 7-9 PM at the Gluvna Shimo Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 am in the funeral chapel followed by the funeral mass at 11:00 AM at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Charles Henkle, associate pastor, will officiate. Cremation will follow.
