Catherine Mullen, 98, (nee Landefeld) died Saturday, February 10, 2007, at The Inn at Chappel Creek in Vermilion following a brief illness.She was born July 6, 1908, in Connellsville, PA. and moved to Lorain in 1955.
Catherine was a member of First Lutheran Church, Lorain.
She enjoyed her family and cooking and baking.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Mary Ann and Mark Forsythe of Vermilion, granddaughter and her husband: Cindy and John Bennett of Park Ridge, IL. grandson and his wife: Scott and Lynne Forsythe of Toledo, grandson Steven Forsythe of Springboro and a great granddaughter Mary Ann Bennett of Park Ridge, IL
Preceding her in death were her husband Everett Mullen in 1991, parents Christian and Mary (nee Doerflein) Landefeld and nine brothers and sisters.
Friends may call on Friday, February 16, 2007 from 1:00 PM until funeral time at 2:00PM in the Schwartz, Spenc, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052 ( 440-244-5288). The Reverend Jimmy Madsen, pastor of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate.
