Thomas A. Zientarski, 52, Machinist

Thomas A. Zientarski, 52, of Lorain, died Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Community Health Partners Hospital following a lengthy battle with lung cancer.

Thomas was born July 9, 1954 in Lorain and was a lifetime resident.

He worked as a machinist for American Crucible. Thomas was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and enjoyed fishing, reading and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his son, Michael Zientarski of North Olmsted, Amy Overy of North Ridgeville, Ashley Zientarski of Elyria, Ariel Zientarski of Lorain, 3 grandsons, parents, Stephen and Carol Zientarski, brothers, Douglas Zientarski of Vermilion, Glenn Zientarski of Cleveland, Scott Zientarski of Boca Raton, FL, David Zientarski of Lorain, and sister Missy Green of Vermilion and his dear friend, Elizabeth K. Fahnert of Sheffield Lake.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Friends may call at the Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway, Lorain, on Sunday, March 4, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday, March 5th with prayers at 9 a.m. in the Funeral Home followed by 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Mary Church in Lorain. Fr. Daniel Divis will be officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
