Marie P. Haller, 79, Sales Associate for Ted Jacobs
Marie P. Haller (nee Domjancic), age 79, of Sheffield Village, died Sunday March 18, 2007 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home after a long illness.Born March 13, 1928 in Lorain, she was a resident of Sheffield Village since 1946. She was a graduate of the former Lorain High School. She received her Bachelor Degree in Child Psychology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
Mrs. Haller was previously employed as a sales associate with the former Ted Jacobs clothing store in Lorain. She, along with her husband John, were the proprietors of the Palm Avenue Grocery Store in Lorain during the 1950’s.
Marie was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church, and active in the choir and Altar and Rosary Society. She was also active in the St. John School Parent Teacher Association. She participated in productions at the Cain Park Theater in Cleveland Heights.
Mrs. Haller is survived by her son Bruce J. Haller and wife Linda of Boca Raton, Florida, and twin sister Mildred Mazgay of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband John P. Haller on June 11, 1999, brothers Joseph Zgurich and Frank Zgurich, and sister Gladys Zgurich.
Please meet at St. John Roman Catholic Church, 2143 Homewood Drive, Lorain on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 11 AM for the celebration of her funeral mass. The Reverend Thomas Smith, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
Family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Autumn Aegis Nursing Home Activity Fund, 1130 Tower Boulevard, Lorain.
