June J. Cornell-Wollerman, 84, Librarian
June J. Cornell-Wollerman (nee: Joyce), 84 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Community Health Partners H & S Center in Lorain following a lengthy illness.She was born June 15, 1922 in Lorain. She has been a resident of Amherst for the last 35 years.
She was a graduate of Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. June was employed with the Lorain Public Library as a librarian for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ. Her hobbies included quilting and membership in several quilt clubs.
Survivors include her daughters Joyce Keating of Spring, Texas and Julie Donovan of Brentwood, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert S. Cornell on April 15, 1969; by her second husband, Clarence Wollerman; by her son, Peter Cornell; by her parents Earl and Anna Joyce (nee: Rolloff); by her brother Albert Joyce; and by her sister Helen Joyce.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 9 a.m. at St. Peter United Church of Christ; 582 Church St., Amherst. The Rev. Mark Pemberton, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery, Westerville, Ohio.
