Joan Pawloski, 79, Cafeteria Worker at Brookside High School
Joan Pawloski (nee Edwards), 79, of Lorain, died Friday April 20, 2007 at the Cleveland Clinic after a brief illness.She was born November 12, 1927 in Lorain and had resided in the Sheffield Lake and Lorain area all of her life.
Joan worked in the cafeteria at Brookside High School in Sheffield Village for 25 years retiring in 1989.
She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She bowled at North Coast Shoreway Lanes in Sheffield Lake and Aquamarine Lanes in Avon Lake and enjoyed puzzles and traveling.
She is survived by her daughters Barbara Buckosh of Sheffield Village and Cheryl Redmond of Sheffield Lake, sons Edward Pawloski of Lorain and Paul Pawloski of Sheffield Lake, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and brothers William Edwards of Grand Blanc, Michigan and Robert Edwards of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Pawloski in 1985, father Rudolph Edwards in 1956 and mother Florene Edwards (nee Furr) in 2000, sister Darlene Hawk-Morris in 2005 and Charles Dick Edwards in 2005.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 25, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 Noon at Gluvna Shimo Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Bob Daugherty will officiate. Cremation will follow.
