Margaret Rose Eikleberry, 79, Centel Phone Company Retiree

She was born August 8, 1927 in Dillies Bottom, Ohio. Raised in Powhatan Point, Ohio where she was a high school graduate. Lorain has been her home since 1951.

Margaret was employed with the former Centel Phone Company in Lorain for twenty-five years, retiring in 1982.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-one years, Forrest Melvin Eikleberry; her sons Dennis Eikleberry of Amherst Township and William John Eikleberry of Coventry, Connecticut; his daughter Janet Heep of Lorain; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her brother John Bellville of Ft. Myers, Florida; and her sisters Louise Brown and Hilda Buyher, both of Powhatan Point, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Winona Bellville (nee: Brown), by her brother Vernon Bellville, and by her sister Vernis Gibson.

Friends may call Wednesday, May 9, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Avenue, Amherst. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home. The Rev. Roger Doty will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
