Petros Sekoulopoulos, 79, Born and Raised in Greece

He was born August 27, 1927 in Saint Germanos, Macedonia, Greece. He immigrated to Lorain in July of 1960.
Mr. Sekoulopoulos retired from the Lorain Ford Assembly Plant in 1992. He worked there for 31 years. He was a member of Saints Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church of Lorain. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Among the survivors are his wife of 54 years Alexandra (nee Epitropoulos) of Lorain; son Athanasios "Tom" Sekoulopoulos of Amherst; daughters Asimenia Eichler of Elyria Township and Dorothea Yarmock of Amherst and seven grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents Atanasios and Dosta (nee Babinkoste) Seculopoulos; brother Simos Seculopoulos and a sister Vasiliki Seculopoulous.
Friends may call Tuesday, May 22, 2007, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, where Trisigon service will be at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 23, 2007, 10:00 a.m. in Saints Cyril and Methodius Church, 3056 Reeves Ave, Lorain, OH 44052. Reverend Paul Mokowski, pastor and Reverend Michael Gulgas, pastor of Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church will officiate. Burial will follow Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
