Lovey Mary Stephanchick, 86, Accomplished Artist and Jamie's Flea Market Vendor
Lovey Mary Stephanchick (nee: Churnashuk), age 86, of Marietta, Georgia and formerly of Lorain, died Thursday, May 24, 2007.Mrs. Stephanchick was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a beautician and accomplished artist. She had a booth at Jamie's Flea Market for many years. In Georgia, she became an avid Bingo player.
She is survived by sons Russell of Cleveland, Oh. and Timothy (Jane Kretovics) of Marietta, Ga., with whom she made her home for 9 years, and daughter, Diane Bender of Sunbury, Oh., 3 grandchildren: T.L., Zachary, and Kara, sister Stella Brzezinski of Connecticut, and various nieces and nephews.
Lovey was preceded in death by husband, Thomas, in 1985 and son-in-law Mark Bender in 2003.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 9, at 1:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. The Rev. Dr. Ralph Krupp, permanent deacon associated with the Catholic Church of St. Peter, Lorain, will officiate. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to Wellstar Paulding Nursing Center, 600 West Memorial Drive, Dallas, Ga. 30132.
